Chogyam Trungpa: SENDING AND TAKING SHOULD BE PRACTICED ALTERNATELY. THESE TWO SHOULD RIDE THE BREATH
Trungpa’s commentaries always seem to have a certain "bite" to them, a "flavor" which arrests any attempt to make them conventional. Yet they have the feel of the ordinary; they are quite matter-of-fact; one can take hold of his commentaries with ordinary hands and ordinary senses. He avoids any "spiritualizing", which, it seems to me, gives his ideas their power. |
