Pema Chodron: DRIVE ALL BLAMES INTO ONE
Pema Chodron’s wonderfully precise compassion is helpful in taking this slogan into myself, helpful in tasting it, for with the usual sense of puritanical blaming this slogan is too bitter, simply too bitter. Yet Pema Chodron does not stop with the blaming;she goes through it and beyond it to the tenderness, the "soft spot", and thus allows me to enter again my true self. re |

Osho: DRIVE ALL BLAME INTO ONE
Lo Jong is very practical, that is, it relates quite directly to whatever "practices"....of thinking, feeling, doing.... that we actually use in our day to day living. Thus Lo Jong is very difficult for it deprives us, rather effectively, of our hiding places. And perhaps the most difficult of all is "drive all blames into one". Could this possible be true? It is true. Osho is useful here; he is as relentless as the slogan. re |
